” How many times, do I go against Your will
Then You forgive me, but yet I still
Turn around and do the things, the things I shouldn’t do
Cause I belong to You and I know You will come through
Lord I know, I take advantage of Your grace
Here in this Christian race,
But yet I still hear You calling my name”
How marvelous is it to know that despite the many times we go against God’s will that we are still His! He still claims us as His own and calls us by name!
This oldie but goodie by Bishop Hezekiah Walker and The Love Fellowship Crusade has blessed my heart this past week!
One of the many things that I LOVE about my about my church home is that we are a bible believing and a bible teaching body of Christ and one of the lessons that we teach from the youngest of saints to the most mature ones is straight from the Gospel of John, chapter 10, verses 27-30:
Often times we hear the voice of God by way of the Holy Spirit and we know when and how we are to move however we choose to negate from that very path to seek our own ways. That does not mean we are no longer in the hands of the Father, it means we are not being obedient BUT….He will still call on our names! He will still see us through, time and time again!
It brings me great peace, hopefully it does the same for you!
