On my Afflictions post, my friend left the comment below and I was speechless (although rare, but it does happen!)
When God led me to the company I currently work for, I did not understand it..at all. And I nor anyone seemed to believe it was a good match for me but being the person that I am, I was going to give it 100% while I waited on God to reveal why he led me there.
I was in training and floating from different locations for about 3 months and then when I walked into my permanent location at the end of January and met my friend whose comment is below, I immediately got my answer.
God led me to her!
She needs my strength and I really need her support and together we keep each other encouraged!
She has a hell of a story to tell and prayfully one day she will share it and encourage so many others but we both know it’s all in God’s time.
I have told her some of the same sentiments I am about to share here but it never hurts to hear or read them more than once..
I am proud of you! You are so courageous and strong! God is still working on and through you and your life.
God is always with you my dear and although at times it feels like he is not, I assure you that he is. When the challenges of life become too much and it seems as if everything is stacking up against you, that is when it’s time to set aside all distractions and go into prayer.
He needs your attention.
Be honest with God, he already knows your heart, tell him out loud what your heart desires then listen for his response and go forth with discipline and obedience in obtaining it.
Despite what it may feel like it the midst of the storm you have a lot to be thankful for.. you have the freedom to serve God and you do it without fail! You took a stance that will change the course of generations to come in your family.
You are an amazing mother who works really hard for the boys!
You are about to graduate after working full-time and raising two boys with a Bachelor’s in Information Technology.
You have had every reason to give up but you prevail! God is within you! He’s carrying you on those dark days, let go and remain faithful! Think back over your life, every battle this far you have overcome with his blessing!
“Be Blessed” is absolutely my prayer for you in song! “From the bottom of your feet, to the crown on your head.. Be Blessed!”
I have no doubt that the tides are turning and all that you have endured was in preparation for the blessings that are to come. And as you sister in Christ, I cannot wait to celebrate every chain that is broken in your life and you own your destiny as the Conqueror that you are!
