I hosted a ladies’ night a couple weeks ago for some of my circle and I to go to dinner & a movie. Over the following days after our outing as I spoke to the ladies that were there, they all had great things to say about each other, as I already expected. It was so awesome to hear nonetheless.
My whole objective this year is to continue to build a network of women that are strong, God-fearing, beautiful souls who recognize their purpose and want to inspire nations. I want to empower those who do not recognize their own strength, I want to encourage those that are hopeless, I want to support one another through life’s challenging moments and celebrate life’s blessings as a community, a sisterhood!
We all need more support! More encouragement! More empowerment! Just more!
Chocolate is without a doubt my best, best friend and then there’s my little big brother who has been my life-long best friend, but my sisters (the ones God gave me and the ones I chose along the way… they are everything!
We need best friends/ confidants other than our husbands because they simply cannot relate to some of the feelings we experience or physical limitations that we endure but your sister can!
Our husbands choose not to hear us on certain situations like that one woman that we know wants him but he fails to see it until it’s blatantly in his face. But our sisters.. they know! And if they’re anything like me, they’re waiting to be tagged in to check a chick!
Y’all pray for me, I’m very possessive, I don’t like women nor men touching what’s mine!
Our husbands see us as emotional, our sisters see us as passionate!
Our husbands think we talk to much, while our sisters like to hear every detail (twice)!
Bottom line; we need out sisters!
I randomly started singing this song the other day while reflecting on some things..lol
For those that know me, you understand this is actually a norm.
First of all, I try to watch Sister Act every time it comes on..lol and secondly, when my sisters are in trouble, so am I..
When we become sisters we are on the same journey, when your heart aches, so does mine, when someone hurts you, they have hurt me too. But together, oh we will get through! There’s power in prayer and numbers so imagine the power in numerous prayers! The Bible says when “2 or 3 are joined in Your name Jesus, there you are in the midst of them!
