Micah 7

Jesus is on the main line! And Micah 7 is on my heart. God has started preparing me for a season of restoration.

2019 has been the longest, shortest year ever! I had absolutely no idea of all that laid ahead for myself and those around me in the coming 365 days.

351 days into the year there’s one thing that I know as we head into 2020 and that is the a mission of recovery and restoration needs to take place in my life and maybe even yours.

For anyone who has found themselves in a mess, or someone who sometimes still makes mistakes, or the person who keeps finding themselves in a dark place or the one who lays in the bed in the midnight hour crying out to God, I am writing to you!

If you have laid on your face and still have an unanswered call to God, this is for you too! If you have fasted and still without clarity, guess what? This message is for you too.

Let’s first define restoration; the action of returning something to a former owner, place or condition. Hallelujah & Amen right there readers!

We look at the situations we find ourselves in and want to curse God, we are feeling forsaken and do not understand, but how can God restore us if we are not broken? As we know brokenness has never felt good but it does lead us to recovery & then restoration.

When God places his hands on us given us the attention we desperately need from the creator we must stop fighting and forsaking him, we must stop ignoring him and just let him restore us to the wholeness as he so perfectly crafted.

We need God fervently to fill the holes in our hearts from brokenness. We need Him to heal the leaks in our spirit from the mess we created. We need Him to restore our lungs that are full of toxins from inhaling the wrong things. We need Him cleanse our blood from the hater toxins from having the wrong people around us. We need Him to relieve the pain in our veinss from built up anger and cease the ache in our joints from non-movement. Oh we need HIM to restore us!

With restoration is going to come some sacrifices, so in preparation of closing out this two-thousand and nineteenth year, what are you willing to sacrifice for restoration?

  1. A WORD indeed! Just in the nick of time! Closing out on so many things and restoring my mind body and soul in the new year! RESTORATION is key! And there will be many sacrifices for elevation in the new year!!!

    1. We have to prepare our hearts and mind to be ready to sacrifice it all including ourselves to God so that He can fully restore us and make us whole again. And pray for blessings even in the midst of this recovery mission!
