Love & Friendships

Proudest Moments

The proudest moments for me are not necessarily from that of personal accomplishments but those of others that continue to inspire, and make me smile so big that both dimples show up!

A lot of those moments are brought forth by my big, little brothers! These 4 guys are such amazing dads and as their sister, confidant, friend and cheerleader, I could not be more proud.🤗

When I see the oldest one C.H. at my nephew’s (oldest nephew) practices and games that seem to go almost all year through all types of weather, having father/daughter moments with my sweet niece and then the way my little guy (younger nephew) looks at him like he’s his favorite person in the world warms my heart like nothing else! ❤

My brother T.K. or Zeus is certified crazy and uncensored but when it comes to his little girl, he’s a different beast! To see his excitement as he takes her to her karate classes and as he  plans surprises for her and to be able to provide all that he does for her with pride makes me smile each and every time.😊

My soldier brother S.H. is one who beats to his own drum and has passed on some of his quirks to my niece-child that most of you are most familiar with. He works tirelessly to provide for her as a single father and she is a daddy’s girl! (although, they all are!) They share their own jokes that absolutely no-one else thinks are funny. Lol. Her love for him is so sweet, and pure as only a daughter shares with🧡

My youngest brother T.H. daddy to my youngest baby girls (one is with King Jesus!👼🏼) created a complete mini in his oldest! She mimics him in mannerisms, personality and looks and it’s the cutest! He is so over protective (maybe even a little obsessive at times, lol) but is always available to her and her demands (and oh boy, she has several!)☺

They all negate the myth that growing up with absent fathers would continue to be a cycle. They all broke the cycle and are amazing fathers.

If anything, they recognize what they did not have as children and work daily to ensure their children do not ever have to experience those things. I am not talking about material things but emotional strongholds that can shape a child’s life for good or bad.

My nieces and nephews never have to look for love they did not receive at home cause their daddies (my brothers!) show them they love them in all that they do. And I am so Proud! 🤩

This Father’s Day & Every Day, I salute you four!!
