Love & Faith

Visioning 2021 Edition

The latter part of 2020 was spent deciphering what I had learned over the year based on all that had changed in the world and most importantly what had changed within me.

The rainy season that seemed to go on all year allowed ideas to form, such as officially forming the company “RachelAnne’s” which is a company whose names pays homage to my beloved grandmother, the business is all about making homemade sweet treats. While solely owned by me is truly a love child for the whole family.

Chocolate & I spent a lot of time on strategizing to become debt free and even refinanced our home to save money there. We encouraged all of those close to us to do the same because the more you know, the more you grow and we want to take our circle with us to financial literacy and freedom. He has dived into investment accounts and designing personalized spreadsheets for budgeting, still teaching everyone who will listen what he has learned. He has even read… well listened to more books in the past year than the collective total from the previous 19 years that we have been together.

I say that to say, while we life slowed down, we were in no way just sitting idle. 2020 has brought out the entrepreneur in us in a major way and we are not letting up in this new year!

By March, I plan to have my first podcast episode available to stream. I may even start to record my “Cooking with Titi” zooms that I host on Sundays with my nieces so that others can follow along with our candid learnings as we tackle different recipes in this new style of spending time together.
